OperationSafety believes that effectively promoting safety within your workplace is a cornerstone to the further growth of a culture of safety excellence.  Making Safety fun and exciting creates an atmosphere of acceptance, and a willingness to learn and participate.

Recognize the efforts of your Safety Representatives and Joint Health and Safety Committee Members with a small token of your appreciation. It goes a long way for increasing their efforts in the future.

While OperationSafety doesn't support the concept of awarding Employees for reaching XX number of days without an accident, we have continually reaped the benefits of using promotional products to heighten the awareness of a particular safety initiative. A simple example, is a stress ball shaped like a star with "I'm a Safety Star" on it. When you catch someone making safety happen, you give them a star with a handshake and a big "Thank you"

In one Retail Food Company that we were employed in, we establish a "LifeSavers Award". Given to anyone who performs a life saving manoeuvre on a Customer or Employee. The Award was given in front of their fellow peers by a Senior Ranking Officer of the Organization, with media coverage.
